Optomap Retinal Exam
We are proud to be the first practice in the Downers Grove area to offer this advanced technology to our patients.  The Optomap examines the back of your eye, the retina, and provides early detection of conditions that affect not only your eyes, but your overall health.  The Optomap helps identify abnormalities that could indicate the onet of a number of diseases that often present first in the retina such as diabetes, hypertension, glaucoma, cancer, and macular degeneration.  In these instances, individuals typically do not experience any pain or outward symptoms.  The Optomap Retinal Exam takes just a few minutes and does not require your eyes to be dilated.  It's quick, easy, and painless.
